simulator is a kind of instrument with the help of which one can perform an event's imitation and see the results of the experiment without actually conducting the exercise manually.

Simulator is most probably based on certain coding done to perform a task on computers by making a computer model of the experiment.

Simulator mimics the actual environment/situation/scenario in lab like place. Experiments/trainings are conducted in a simulator rather than in actual conditions. Like for e.g, aeroplane pilots are trained in a simulator to expose them different scenarios.

Its a program that is created to work exactly as the real device is expected to work. Mainly used for testing products. And its less dangerous to test with simulators so they are widely used.

it is the technique of duplicating an environment or process.
people who go to space feel no weight, that is why the are floating there. there training is done or simulated under water, which gives the person an almost weightless feeling.
