I don't remember how to do these y=mx+b problems. I got it wrong on my test .

The graph of 5y - 4x = 36 passes through which of the following points? The answer choices are a- (0,-9), b- (4,-4) or d- (-9,0). I took off c- (-4,4) because that's not the right answer.

How do you solve it?

If you mated these same cats four more times and obtain a total of 40 offsprings, would you expect the results to be a closer approximation of the expected ratios?

I scored 15, my friend was more than 50.

Assuming 29.5 days between full moons, I calculated this ought to happen roughly every 236 years. Wikipedia lists several years where February had no full moon, but were leap years. Hint: For this to happen, there must be two full moons in January and March ( one or two blue moons, depending on the definition you use).

The user "Siddhartha Basu" posted four consecutive questions and in all of them gave the best answer to "Goutam", even though Goutam was never first with the correct answer, and often gave fewer details than other answerers. For example, in this case, Goutam just put one number:

In this case he copied my answer verbatim:

This also happened in two other cases (which you can find by looking at either "Siddhartha Basu" or "Goutam"'s profiles.

Has this happened to others? What is the proper way to address this?

I do not know if it should, but this kind of thing really bugs me, and makes me much less inclined to take my time to type out explanations to questions.

Thanks for your advice!
