im really about developing physic abilities and i tried telekinesis the other day.I did about 10 mins of meditation first and then proceeded trying to move a little piece of paper i placed in front of the computer keyboard.Following some technique i found on the web , i got really concentrated and placed my hands close to the paper , after 3 minutes or so of not moving , i decided to quit and rest for a while , at the moment of saying that i switched my attention and looked right to the electricity socket where the computer was plugged , and suddenly the computer SHUT DOWN BY ITSELF as if the lights as gone off, but actually that didnt happen since the lights on my room didnt go off, and my computer is in perfect conditions so i dont think it could be a virus or something ..do you think all that energy i had built up instead of moving the paper just affected the computer?

I'm writing a sci fi story, and ran into a mental problem. Very short version, the Canadian Space Agency offered $500 per kilogram of samples, chosen by CSA's own scientists, taken from every planet and major body (like moons and interesting asteroids), for study. The cargo capacity of the ship is large, so I'm figuring 6K kilos of samples, or 3 million dollars.

$500 is a guess from nowhere, though. I'm thinking it'd probably be higher, really, considering satellites and ships often cost well into the billions. And the scenario takes place in today's timeframe (main character gets a ship out of nowhere, in short)

What would your estimates be for that sort of thing? Or, would you think they'd offer per liter, or just a pre-agreed lump sum for the whole batch?
