Pumpkin pi!


This comes from the formula for circumference:
C = π d

Therefore ratio of circumference to diameter is π (pi).
C / d = π

And since it is a pumpkin it must be pumpkin "pi". Be sure to save me a slice. Mmmm... yummy!

Circumference= pi * Diameter

IF we assume that the pumpkin is a sphere then the ratio of circumference to diameter is:

Circumference/Diameter = pi * Diameter/Diameter

= pi
