Going to the moon would have been a huge event! According to my dear friend and creation science colleague Dr. Em Adjineri, if it were true, NASA would have filmed it or at least taken pictures or even televised it. So why can't anybody produce these alleged pictures or film? Because we never went to the moon! That's why. There aren't even any mugs or ashtrays for sale in any of those souvenir stores, not to mention there aren't any of those fuzzy pet moon rocks on the market. If we really went, then I'm sure we would have seen some marketing evidence of it.

I know nothing about trees and wood, so would appreciate advice from someone who does. My mom just had a very large, very old oak tree taken down in her back yard. It had been dropping large limbs from high up, causing damage to her roof and vehicles. Now that it's mostly down, there are large, thick logs lying all over the yard, and we're considering selling or trading them to someone for furniture making instead of letting the company that's cutting it down haul it away. My mom says she wanted to try and count the rings to see how old the tree actually was, but that the wood is so dense she can't even make out the rings. Does this mean it's the type of wood that would be coveted for creating furniture or millwork?

I'm supposed to be figuring out the exponents in a rate law from an experiment, but I suspect that my experimental data is wacky? The numbers vary considerably for one of the chemicals.

Here are the exponents I calculated for one of the chemicals: 0.300, 0.241, and 0.0752, which averages to 0.205. I keep thinking that I have to round a number to a whole number, but it's way too low to be 1. Is it possible that this is a zero order reactant?

Okay here is the problem

When it rains gas phase water in the atmosphere must be converted to liquid phase water (i.e. condensation.: H2O(g) -> H2O (l) ). Calculate the standard change in enthalpy associated with a thunderstorm in which 1.0 inch of rain falls over an area of 1.0 mile^2. List any human related events which have taken place on earth which are of comparable energy.

Please help I am really confused about this problem and would appreciate any help.

f = 1/2PI * sqrt(K/M), and another one, w = sqrt(K/M).
these two terms are called natural frequency of a vibrating system. Somehow until now i am still confuse about how they differ when a question is ask about 'what is the natural frequency of a beam,' for instance.

To appreciate the forces that a fighter pilot must endure, consider the magnitude of Fn of the normal force that the pilot's seat exerts on him at the bottom of a dive. The magnitude of a pilot's weight is W. The plane is travelling at 230 m/s on a vertial circle of radius 690 m. Determine the ratio Fn/W.
