Go to www.skyandtelescope.com and enter "supernova" in the search box at the top of their home page. You will get a long list of articles about supernovas from their online magazine.

Have you ever tried Ebsco and Lexis? If not try to ask your librarian. It's a database and contains all the information you needed. All you need to do is to contact your librarian. Good luck.....

As always, wikipedia has good information. And if you don't want to use wikipedia, or the teacher says you can't, then it always cites its sources and you can go to them.
