I quit drinking four years ago....
I started losing hair four years ago.....
I'm thinking that I never made up in diet - calorie wise - what I used to drink...
I always attributed it at the time to stress.....the new stress of not drinking that is.....just an idea.....

Anyhow, I've had about every bit of bloodwork done that could be - and it all came by normal.....

Is it possible that its as simple as I'm scrawny as could be?
I'm 5 foot 8 and 115lb.....consume about 1200 cal a day....

If its a possibility, let me know....

Ok, so this is very stupid. Please tell me how to do it.

Lim as n->infinity of a_n= ( 1/ ( e^(4n) +n^2) )^ (1/n)

Apparently the answer is not 0, 1/e, or 1. Go figure.

Calculate the change in free energy (KJ) for the reaction
NO(g) + O3(g) → NO2(g) + O2(g)
under the following conditions:
T = 298 K ΔGo = -198.0 kJ/mol
Pressure of NO = 2.00 x 10-5 atm
Pressure of O3 = 1.98 x 10-5 atm
Pressure of NO2 = 2.70 x 10-6 atm
Pressure of O2 = 2.25 x 10-2 atm
Note that the value given above for ΔGo may not agree exactly with the value calculated using the thermodynamic data in the appendix of the text. Use the above value in this calculation.

Show the change in enthalpy calculation for the formation of NO from N2 and O2 using the following info:

NO (g) + .5O2 (g) --> NO2 (g)

change in enthalpy = -13.5 kcal/mol NO

i am so confused can someone help me please? (just telling me HOW to do it is fine)
THANK YOUUU <3

A woman at an airport is towing her 20.0 kg suitcase along a horizontal surface for 10 m from rest, she is pulling a constant 40 N force along the strap which is at an angle 30 degrees with respect to the horizontal. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the suitcase and the floor is .150.

a.) what normal force does the ground exert on the suitcase?
b) how much work is done by the pulling force?
c) How much work is done by the friction force?:
d) what is the speed of the suitcase after 10 m? You can use kinematics or work KE theorem.

I tried working out the problem but need to know if I doing it right.

For a, I used the formula Fy + n - w = 0 to find normal force.
40sin(30) + n - (9.8 x 20) = 0
20 + n - 196 = 0
n = 176 N

For b, I used the formula w = F sin (theta) (delta x) and got
w = (35) sin (30) (10) = 175 J

For c, I used friction = n (uk) where n = mg - F(app)sin(theta)
(9.8)(20) - 40 sin (30)
196 -20 = 176 (.150) = 26.4 J

I need help with starting d, also. Thnks

If you could travel away in a time machine, to discover all the unsolved mysteries on earth ( does god exist etc) and knew that you could not return to earth to tell anyone, would you go to satisfy your curiosity or stay and rather not know?

1. When studying the relationship between a crater's diameter and the speed of the asteroid when it impacts the surface, as the speed of the asteroid increases, the crater's diameter decreases. TRUE OR FALSE

2.The surface of the moon and Earth's surface have had the same amount of changes over time. TRUE OR FALSE

3.The gravity of Earth is six times that of the moon. TRUE OR FALSE

4.The difference between simple craters and complex craters is complex craters have a central peak or ring whereas simple craters do not have a central peak or ring. TRUE OR FALSE

5.Earth has about 14 times the cross sectional area of the moon, making it more likely to be hit by asteroids. TRUE OR FALSE

Again, thank you for anyone who can help me. i really appreciate it!!!!!!!!!

I understand that microwave ovens emit non-ionizing microwave radiations which are of no harm to health

But some medical instruments use ionizing microwave radiations

Also, I read that ultraviolet rays are ionizing radiations which cause cancer. Hence long time exposure to ionizing radiation is bad.

Is there a possibility of microwave oven, due to overuse and bad condition, might emit ionizing microwave radiations?

This optical illusion was on Ebaumsworld.com It states that if the figure is spinning clockwise, then you use your right brain more. But if it's counter-clockwise, then you're left brain dominant.

I see it spinning clockwise...

I guess my question is...is it real? And does anyone see it counter-clockwise?

Here's the link.

I wasn't able to solve this problem on my test today, but it's driving me crazy... so I was hoping that someone could help me.

I don't have a way to write out some symbols so I'll use "=" for "if & only if" & ">" for "if & only if".

Premise:
(L=Q)>L
Conclude:
LvQ

I've tried both forms of exportation on the premise, along with using implications, etc. Any suggestions?

Here's a link to the picture:

We got a hint that on the side of 8, we can make a third variable, z like this:
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v321/sugaswt17/?action=view¤t=mathii.jpg

Find the area of the rectangle as a function of its length. I used y and got A=y*((8z-z²)/(√z²-y²)).

Not sure if this is right at all =( Any help would be greatly appreciated.
