This optical illusion was on Ebaumsworld.com It states that if the figure is spinning clockwise, then you use your right brain more. But if it's counter-clockwise, then you're left brain dominant.
I see it spinning clockwise...
I guess my question is...is it real? And does anyone see it counter-clockwise?
Here's the link.

Seems people are saying covering the right eye makes it easier to go counter-clockwise. Vice versa. Does anyone know if this is real? I'm confused. I got it to go both ways, as some can't at all. What I'd like to see is two people doing it at the same time, getting two different results. Then we'd know.

OK....I think I figured how to make it switch on demand. The trick is in the shadow. If you look at the shadow of the feet, focus on the the one that's swinging around. You can make it spin counter clockwise easier by focusing on when it disappears. When it appears, tell your brain that it's going counter-clockwise and voila!
So I think it's not fraud. It's your brain! You can make it change on demand!
Two people try it yeT?

I see it clock wise. Wow I don't see how people see it counter clock wise. I tried to see how it's even possible, but I couldn't.
*unholy warrior above me* I'm like you too......I looked at it again and I see it counter clockwise, and then I see it clockwise. wow that's crazy cool!!!!

I see the link you've given as clockwise, but the one I viewed 9 hours ago was definitelly counter-clockwise.
WTF? Did my brain switch modality in the last 9 hours? I don't think so.
This test is most likely a fraud.
But the video of the shadow-woman pirouetting is actually kind of cool.

she was turning clockwise for me - i am creative and artistic - so I guess that makes sense for me - i tried to concentrate and stared at it - but no way could i trick my brain to see it go the other way.
i just had another look at it - and now she's going the other way - it's just a trick
