I need to pick an ocean animal/creature to do a report on. Anyone know any good ocean animals I can do that I will be able to get alot of information on, but not be the same ole everyone else does like sharks, whales etc. I'd like to do something different then the norm but need alot of information. Hi!

I would like to know why when we freeze water, the volume of water is still the same as before when it has frozen to become ice?

Example :

When you fill a cup with water full to the brim and put it in a freezer, after it has frozen and you take it out, the ice is frozen to the brim too.

I thought that the particles in solids are closely packed together?? Why doesn't the water particles group together?? If the particles DO group together, shouldn't the ice be smaller when it is frozen?

Methane acts as a greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. The main source of methane are the digestive systems of cattle and sheep, bacterial action in rice paddies, burning of biomass (eg. forests fires), bacterial action in swamps and marshes, burning of coal and release of natural gas.

why is it that these days, even short walkable distances, people are too lazy to walk and instead, they drive?
why is it that people refuse to use solar energy or even gas rather than filling our atmosphere with crap from power plants?
so many choices made by people all around the world, are slowly adding up...one person might think, well its okay if i do this aslong as everyone else is good...or "its just alittle electricity, wont make a difference"
as these things add up, we are slowly screwing our planet...water levels are already rising, check out venice, australia and many other countries with low lying or flood prone areas...air temp is rising, weather unpredictable, ocean currents changing, ice melting...and yet we are all too lazy to change our ways...its gona cost us, and quite soon.
i dont wanna die cos others are too lazy, so cmon people lets do somthing about it. dont turn on a light, open a curtain. dont drive short distance, ride a bike.
start now or pay later...
