Depends on whether or not you have cash, cheque or some sort of Money Order, and wish to exchange it to pounds. Or are you comparing, say, the value of a property perhaps. Anyway you should get about £196,000 and don't forget some banks will charge you for the exchange.

And by the way, Euro is the way to describe any amount of the currency -- 1 euro, 10,000 euro. Don't plural it to 'euros'. It's the same as the Yen

to get Euros into Sterling quickly i always divide it by 3 and multiply it by 2.

eg. 280,440/3 = 93,480

multiply by 2 = £186, 960

Times 280440 by the going rate....which is 1 Euro's = 0.70p
Therefore mutliply the 280440 by .....0.70p......= £196.31.......
