i live in illinois near st. louis and recently i went to a picnic and near some trees there were some massive spikey balls bigger than the sweet gum balls we usually see. and it has more spikes. when it was opened it has a nut but the covering on the inside is like velvet it was really cool looking and i would really like to know the name of it so i could learn more about them.

A block is projected up an inclined plane that makes and angle z to the horizontal. it returns to its intial postion with half its initial spped. what is the coeff of friction between the block and the plane in terms of the angle of incline?(hint: do any forces acting on the block change direction during its travels?)

this is what i got:
SUM OF Fx=Nx+wx+(Fk)x
= -mgsinz-Fk
=MAx
sum of fY=Ny+Wy+(Fk)y
= n-mgcos z
=MAy=0
max=-mgsinz-(miuk)(mgcosz)
miuk=(-Ax-sinzcosz)/gcosz
=(2ax-sin2z)/2gcosz

given a maximum voltage of 3.9491 volts and a minimum voltage of -0.0256 volts then what is half the max voltage value??

THESE ARE ON THE GRAPH AND THEN IT SAYS:
t0 = 1.241 sec
t1= 1.290 sec
t2 = 1.265 sec

THEN IT SAYS: Q7 shows on offest in the "zero" point. You must add the half quantity to the offset to find the scale's value for 1/2Max.
