what will make soda spurt more soda, colored mentos or regular mentos?

I need it for a sci. project my research class is working on.

On Mythbusters they used only the white ones and got a pretty good fountain going. I'd use those. I'm not sure if the colored ones add very much, because they're only dyed.
The Mentos are the same underneath the dye.

You are suppose to use regulr mentos and diet coke. Its also real fun to make someone put mentos in their mouth and then gulp some diet coke. But that wouldnt make a good science experiment.

Why don't you try it out and see? Isn't that the whole point of a science project?
