i'm an 18 yr old female but i think i might have some kind of hormonal imbalance.

things ive noticed
- i have a lot of body hair. almost as much as a guy on my legs and thighs, even on my upper thighs. i have hair everywhere else too (arms, back, chest, tummy, bottom) but its really fine and not noticeable unless super upclose. its not in a male pattern like on my chest or stomach just fine hair all over.
- facial hair on my upper lip and cheeks but none on my chin
- i have a sharp adam's apple? only noticed this a few months ago. i cant see it that much but i can feel it.
- i have toned muscles especially biceps and calves even though i dont exercise
- i dont have a "valley" between my breasts

ive never gone to see a doctor about this because i dont "look" masculine at all (im 5'0" & 110 lbs with a small body frame, i have a defined waist, average sized breasts, etc). ive had my period for 6 years and its always been perfectly regular and normal.

Lately, I have heard plenty about galaxies merging, and everyday, I hear new evidence of this perhaps having happened in the Universe's distant past. In recent years, Hubble has brought back pictures of this phenomena, and I for one am convinced that the Universe may in fact be slowly contracting in various parts while expanding in others according to the predictions of mainstream science supported red shift phenomena and other forms of evidence. The coming Andromeda - Milky Way collision is just one such prediction of a galaxy merger within our local group of galaxies, and it leaves me wondering if in fact such mergers are destined to occur in other parts of the Universe at around the same time or shortly afterwards in cosmic time. If so, is this indicative of the Big Crunch destined to compact our Universe into a sizeless, super-dense singularity? If so, can anyone provide me with the amount of time that the Universe may have left before such a cataclismic event.

We've all heard that the calender ends in december of 2012. What happens after that is subjective. Last night I heard another thing that stated that at that time the earth, our sun and the center of our galaxy will be in alighnment on the big day which may cause a magnetic polar shift on earth. Is it scientifically proven that the earth, sun and galaxy will be alighed on that day? I'm sure we can accuratly predict the positions so it should be easy to acertain if this is true or not.

Describe an expirement you could counduct to determine the mass of a half metre ruler using the principle of moments.

Also state materials/ equipments used, result to be taken and how you would use these results to arrive at the mass of the ruler.

A ball is thrown vertically at 20ms^-1 from the surface of the Earth. With what speed would it have to be thrown on Jupiter, where g is = 22.5ms^-2, in order to reach the same height?

A weight of 6120 kg is lifted up to 100 cm vertically by hydraulic/human power within 20 minutes.Mechanically a generater 3000 rpm is managed to produce current when the jack is released. The weight converts in to kinetic torque, speed controled by the flow discharge of fluid. The equation are as follows. Roughly.
1 mm displacement/move body
1800 cycle rotation/rotor
36/sec time
or the weight travels/moves/displace 100 cm within 10 hrs
producing 1kw current. Is it possible/calculation correct or have to put more weight.Pls advice /in need of comment.
Continued...
The comment is poor.Translation ok/ who are in engineering.Secondly I know the way is lousy but its for poor persons. This is a concept.Yes power wears/dicreases during developing speed/.torque.but pls remember the equation we can develope or increase input power by both adding mass or wgt or multiply the power increasing hgt and decreasing the ratio of power gears.
I'm 100% confirm.It'll work.Please donot ignore.

Studying the Universe at University is quite fascanating, you realise that the Milky Way is so huge that we take up just 8% of it and only know 13% of it! There is another 87% of the Milky Way that mankind has never seen nor' expearianced, so if Planet Earth could be in the Milky Way, could there be another planet with life, like receantly they found Eris (EARTH LIKE with Liquid Water), and heat camera's have detected millions of suns in our galaxy so could there be other planets in our Galaxy with Life?? (I personally believe there is, but what do you think?)
