We did a lab where we had to remove soap from water... We tested with different substances. We had to put plaster of paris, borax, epsom salt, and sugar into 4 seperate test tubes filled with a soapy water mixture. By shaking the test tube, soap suds would arise, and we were to measure them. Then we compared with a plain test tube filled with just soapy water. The plaster of paris removed the most soap from the water!

Now we have questions to answer and i am really confused with this one:

What criteria did you use to determine if your experiment worked?

Does anybody have a clue? PLEASE? =[

A 3.90 kg penguin runs onto a huge horizontal sheet of frictionless ice. The sheet lies on the xy-plane. At t = 0 s it is at x = 0 m and y = 0 m with an initial speed of 0.71 m/s along the positive x-axis. It slides while being pushed by the wind with a force of 0.53 N directed along the positive y-axis. Calculate the penguin's speed at t = 7.43 s.

I think that it is more likely there is a habitable planet on the opposite side of the sun than there are aliens coming from 1000's of light years away. Also this would sense because they would visit us because we could potentially hurt there planet if we destroy ours.

When I enter [x/4] + x in the y= section, why doesn't it graph?
Instead I get an error message that says there's something wrong with the syntax, but that's how the teacher told us to enter it.
(I've tried just entering [x], but that doesn't come up either.)
Thanks in advance to you math geniuses...unless of course it's something obvious :)

Me and my family used to live there when i was younger, alot of paranormal activity happened then. But nothing on the internet about it. It was a 2 story blue house.

((close to the Octagon house which we lived by and the octagon house has 9 passageways for an underground railroad...maybe a passageway under our house?))

I have a question on a homework question. All I need to know is this...

There is a box diveded into 4 squares. The top left box has an 'A' in it. The top left box has a 'B' in it. The bottom left box has a 'C' in it. And the bottom left box has a 'D' in it. Above the 'A' and 'B', it says, "Variable 1". Next to the 'A' and 'C' box, it says, "Variable 2" can you please explain it to me. I would really appriciate it.

Thanks!!!

And if so, please cite references. I'm talking about physical science- not subjective "I just know I am" "proof". Like genetics, for example.

I have been employed as an intern in a mid sized company, working with 10 engineers. So far, I have been working on manuals, CAD drawings, and basically documentation of equipment awaiting release.

What tips do you have that can help me become more involved with design projects particularly, or any kind of general tips? Thx.

btw. this is a mechanical/electrical engineering position and I have finished my first year. I am working full time right now.
