At t= 0s a truck is stopped at a traffic light. When the light turns green, the truck starts to speed up, and gains speed at a constant rate until it reaches a speed of 20m/s 8 seconds after the light turns green. The truck continues at a constant speed for 60m . Then the truck driver sees a red light up ahead at the next intersection, and starts slowing down at a constant rate. The truck stops at the red light, 180m from where it was at .

Draw accurate graph for the motion of the truck.

I understand that the first part of the graph is like a parabola, and at one point its linear, and then becomes almost horizontal..can anyone draw this graph please, or the values or x between interval time of 0-15

One of my friends says that we could to Mars anytime we wanted, that all we would have to do is just build the spaceship to get there and go, i said that there is more than just building something and doing it but then he started going on about tax payers paying 20k for a toilets seat and stuff like that, but do you think with technology the way it is now that we could just go to Mars with the level of technology the way it is now?

You have a table with a box on top attached to two boxes, one hanging over each side, the boxes are attached, one on each side, by a rope running through a pulley. The box on the left is m1, the box on right is m2 and the box on top is m3.

What is the acceleration of the system if
m1 = 0.25 kg,
m2 = 0.50 kg,
m3 = 0.25 kg?

What is the acceleration of the system if
m1 = 0.35 kg,
m2 = 0.15 kg,
m3 = 0.50 kg?

**I know I've asked it a couple of times but I messed up and the answers are wrong. •The one who answered both- thanks so much but they did not make sense. I NEED situations.

•How many lines are determined by four points? Consider the situations:all four points are collinear&where three of the four points are collinear. Are there other possible situations?
•I understand what to do... but not exactly how to do it. I am going to ask my teacher for help but... I need the answers for that day so help if you can, thanks so much.

Determine it: 1) where the four points are collinear -and- 2) where three of four points are collinear.
*other possible situations- yes, but what are they? I definitely need to know that part...
•I know that if there are 4 collinear points, then that is one line, because a line continues in each direction.
•Then if it is 3 out of 4 points that are collinear, would it be no line? Wouldn't they just be segments and rays? I NEED the other situations. Thanks.

In an industry that produces PVC tubes i want to suck the HCL gas that is produced near the machines away from the building.
Now thw industry uses two big fans on the roof sucking the air (and the HCL gas) of the room out of the building but this is not enough.
Do i have to use plastic fins for the new fans ?
Also i am thinking of using tubes near to the machines to drive the HCL gas out through the fans.
Any suggestion ?
Book, article, company, etc. to find something ?

Hi, I was wondering if there was any specific strategy to factor equations, for example, x²-5x+4=0. If anybody could go through step by step and explain to me how I could factor other equations similar to this easily, I would greatly appreciate it.

lim (sqrt(9x^2+x)-3x) as x-->infinity

ok I know the answer already is 1/6
but I am unsure how they got that.
if you square it you get 9x^2-6xsqrt(9x^2+x)+9
if that is correct what do you do know? Square it again? to eliminate the sqrt once more?
