Meters, seconds, and feet cancel out leaving mph, but I'm getting something else.

Describe the pattern in this sequence:

200, 202, 206, 212

Now I know that you add the first number with 2, and then the second with 4 and the third with 6, which is adding them with even numbers but I just can figure out how to describe it!!! Its driving me insane! Please help! Thanks!

Answer: d= -3

4(2s+1) - 5 = 6s
Answer: s= 1/2 or 0.5

3(q + 2) + q = 2q + 5
Answer: q= -1/2 or -0.5

and now in the other one im given one zero and i need to find them all

Ok so technically engineers aren’t exactly the best writers, being more science oriented. So my question to you is why should engineers be better writers? Of course we know they need to get their thoughts across through writing, or a bridge can collapse killing millions, but what are some other reasons?
