Hey,

First multiply both sides by 8:

4x = 8

Divide now by 4 to get:

x = 2 <=== FINAL ANSWER

Check:

1 = 4 (2) / 8

1 = 8 / 8

1 = 1 CORRECT

You can pretty much figure out the answer just by looking at this for a second, but here's how you should approach it:

1 = 4x/8
==> multiply both sides by 8
8 = 4x
==> divide both sides by 4
2 = x ... ANSWER
