Here's the problem: At a sports training camp, participants run three miles a day. Before running, they record their resting heart rate. After running, they record their time, heart rate, and describe how they feel about their time. Which of the follwing is not a quantitative variable?

quantitative measurements are things dealing with numbers, and qualitative measurements are observations. the answer is the 4th one.

a quantities variable means that you can measure something and the answer is a definite number.
you an not measure how a person feels so the answer is #4
