i have some science homework to find and learn the definitions of some words, one being molecule,
and all the definitions i have already found
(in dictionary/ on internet) are really complicated!
please can someone give me a simpler definition of molecule?

a molecule is a very small group of atoms that form a particular substance.
simple enough?

A molecule is a substance that contains two or more atoms.
The atoms may be the same or different eg. N2 a diatomic molecule of the element nitrogen, this is usually just known as nitrogen. CO a diatomic molecule containing one atom of carbon and one atom of oxygen, this is known as carbon monoxide.
