Quite often aluminium is used to make kitchen utensils - pots and pans.
However, it should be noted that pure aluminium is highly reactive when in contact with oxygen. Hence what is thought of a aluminium is actually aluminium oxide.

Bauxite is the natural ore of aluminium. Bauxite is purified, and then aluminium is obtained by electrolysis from the bauxite.

NB The chemical symbol for aluminium is not 'AL' but 'Al' - capital 'A' and small case 'l'.
