I just had an off the wall thought on space. If space is simply nothingness then how can anything be there? Could space be made up of subatomic particles, possibly smaller than dark matter? Maybe these subatomic particles are the medium that electromagnetic radiation uses to travel from one point to another.
this was just something that kind of popped in to my head. Tell me what you think?

i'm writing a book where my characters travel through time.. i know time travel isn't possible now, but does anyone know the most plausible scientific theory of how it could be possible? i think i read something about a wormhole? i don't want to get all into a scientifc explanation in the book but i would like it to be a little less daft than magic.
