Almost :-)

3(1 - d) = 2 - (2d + 4)

3+4-2=3d-2d
d=5
==============

4(2s+1) - 5 = 6s

4-5=6s-8s

s=0.5
=============

3(q + 2) + q = 2q + 5

3q+q-2q=5-6

q=-0.5

Omg, I'm learning that in Algebra 2. I took a test on it last week and I think I bombed it. Thing is I understand how to do it but my answers are so screwy I don't know how I got them. What's weird is that I used to be good at this kind of stuff last year. But that was because the teacher had good methods of teaching, she was young so she understood teenagers better.
