to the next upper energy level.so imagine a black paint on a car in the sun being heated up.
so the sun gives electrons, and the paint atoms consume it and the electrons in the atoms of the paint go to the next energy level..right
so if it goes to next energy level it gains energy
so how is that we feel the heat .because according to the thery heat is given out only when energy is lost

im really confused about this

I'm stuck on these 3 problems.

1.) The time t (in seconds) that it takes for a pendulum to complete one period is approximately t = 1.1 square root of L, where L is the length (in feet) of the pendulum. How long is the period of a pendulum of the length 10 ft?

2.) The time t (in seconds) that it takes for a rock to fall a distance d (in meters) is approximately t = 0.45 square root of d. How long does it take for the rock to fall a distance of 200 m?

3.) Explain why n square root of a (little n in front of the square root) and a real nth root of a need not have the same value.

PLEASE HELP! I will give best answer!

I have had first hand experience with things like psi balls and premonitions. I have also tried pyrokenisis and levitation. I just truly want to know why dont you believe? There is proof of people being able to see the future there is prove of people being able to levitate and i myself have been able to show other people my psi balls. Also if we only use like 9% of our brains or something like that, how do u know that the other 91% isnt the ability to levitate or use other "super human powers". There is also videos of African shamans being able to levitate. Chi which some people think is fake has been scientificaly proven to be real. A chinese monk was put under a thermal heat sencors and they discovered that he could control unexplained energy movments in the form of heat throughout his body. That is what chi is and that is what most skeptics also think is fake. So after all of this typing to sum it all up why don't you believe?

When scientists forcefully answer that life cannot exit on Mars, due it's conditions, I think they aren't thinking clearly.

What makes them say tht beings cannot live there. Jyust because we can't doesnt mean other cannot! I mean, so it may be at certain times extremely cold/hot, but could evolution and adaption solve tht(tht might take a while, tho) And also, they always point out tht no one can breathe because of the lack of oxygen.C'mon! What if the anatomy of such a creature could handle the air of Mars!?! nuff said, your thoughts???

Can liquid helium be stored indefinitely in a sealed container? I need to permanently seal a superconducting magnet in liquid helium. A persistent current will be induced in the superconductor and it is said that it will persist forever, theoretically. This has an immensely important application. But I just want to ensure the container won't blow up, once it's permanently sealed. Also, what material would the container be made of?
