You need a copy of the periodic table to be able to identify these. (see attached link)

Once you've identified the atoms, count. Use the subscripts to tell you how many of each atom type there is. Where you see no subscript, there is only one of that atom.

e.g. NH3. It is made of nitrogen (N), and hydrogen (H). No subscript after the N, so there is one of them. The subscript 3 after the H shows there are three hydrogen atoms.

The letter represents an element (one upper case letter per element). Check the symbol on the Periodic Table, or some other list of chemical symbols. The number following the symbol is the number of atoms of that element in each molecule.

So: C6H12O6 has 6 carbon atoms, 12 hydrogen atoms and 6 oxygen atoms in each molecule, making a total of 24 atoms per molecule.

Get a periodic table and learn how to use it. Now;

BO2 is Boron Dioxide one boron atom; two oxygen's A covalent compound. Not ion, though the second species is named that way and counted. First species is counted, but not one ( mono )
Cl is Potassium Chloride One potassium and one chloride. Named in usual ionic fashion. Metal name and ide suffix on non-metal.
NH3 is ammonia and is made of one Nitrogen and 3 hydrogen. Only name is used; never systematic name.
C6H12O6 is glucose. Six carbon atoms, twelve hydrogen atoms and six oxygen's. A whole covalent molecule.

BO2 = 1 boron atom and 2 oxigem atoms
KCl= 1 pottasium & 1 chlorine
NH3 = 1 nitrogen and 3 hidrogen atoms
C6H12O6= so 6 carbon atoms,12 hidrogen atoms,6 oxigen atoms
