A basketball player runs down the court, following the path indicated by the vectors A, B, and C in Figure 3-38. The magnitudes of these three vectors are: A = 8.0 m, B = 17.0 m, and C = 7.0 m. Let the +x axis point to the right and the +y axis point to the far side of the court.

The arrow is pointing downward on the line to the left and it equals 8m. The arrow in the middle is pointing upward and it equals 17m. The arrow at the right is pointing down and to the right and it equals 7m.

Conect the lines and it almost looks like an s turned sideways. The angle of the slanted line is 45 degrees and the straight line to the right is 30 degrees.

We at most use 5% of the brain.
Is it not possible we have other abilities as well like mental telepathy..mind over mater...not just 6 senses but maybe a dozen.
but due to the way we have been educated we have shut this away and forgot how to use it.

I graduated with a degree in Art 6 years ago. Now I'm a dissatisfied Dental Lab Technician. I'm good at math and I like to play around with machines and wood and wires and anything I can get my hands on. I want to make alternative energy sources that people will actually use. That (to me) says R&D mechanical (not as into the chemical), but I don't know any engineers. What kind of engineering should I focus on? What kind of classes should I take at my local college to get into grad school? Are there good online schools so I can still live and work normally?

A force vector has a magnitude of 544 newtons (N) and points at an angle of 39.5° below the positive x axis.
What is the algebraic expression for the x scalar component Fx of the force vector? Express your answer in terms of the magnitude F of the force vector and the angle θ that specifies the direction below the positive x axis. Remember that scalar components can be positive or negative, depending on whether they point, respectively, along the positive or negative axis.

In Science, we are doing graphs, and my teacher said that line of best fit can be wavy or straight depending on the graph. But I was taught last year in math that you draw a straight line to average the points out so each side is roughly equal. Now, she says it's not like connect the dots, but you want to touch through as many as you can. And some can be wavy...I'm lost. any help?

What if millions of years ago an inteligent alien life form discovered Earth, but found it full of giant meat eating reptiles. Could these little green men deliberately have sent an asteroid to Earth to wipe out the giant reptilian menace, while at the same time save other harmless species in a "noah Ark" like space craft?
This is just a theory, and many things are posible, especialy in the theory of inteligent alien life forms.
