About 2/3 of all hurricane names are from non-European ethnic backgrounds. All you have to do is pay attention.

You can find a list of what the hurricane names will be over the next six (6) years, along with an explanation of how the names are selected, at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's web site for the hurricane center.
