I have read Einstein's and other's theories on the subject, but I was wondering if there was any recent studies conducted...I just wish it was possible.

No it is not impossible. However do do that, you would need exceed the speed of light. A human can not withstand the level of acceleration needed to exceed the speed of light within a human lifetime.

There's a few recent studies made, but one article you may find interesting is "Time May Not Exist". It's about ¾ way down this page:

You may also want to look at the New Scientist webpages, but they like to tempt you with a subscription, and Google is always an option.

I don't think so. I doubt it will ever be possible. You would have to travel faster than the speed of light and that isn't possible.
