For this I got 5, however, the answer sheet says a different answer. I am a bit confused, can someone see if they get 5 as well? Also, for this problem: (8 - 7)×6 - 10/5 + 4 my answer is 0, yet the answer sheet says different. If anyone knows the answer, could they please explain, because I am lost then.

"anti-derivative" isn't helping. Hypothetical Examples would help.

any one of you believe that your love ones who jus passes away will come and find us in our dream? wad if they do not come and find you? does that mean he/she doesn't want to see/talk to you anymore? or is this just a natural body system that it would react as we were too sad over the death of our love ones?

But what is the "C" and what does it mean? Can you also explain it for me for multi-variable integrals too?

I only need to know what do you think the null and altenative hypothesis is!

The story:
A plant breeder claims that a new variety of fruit bush he has produced gives a higher yield of fruit than the variety it will replace. A random sample of 10 bushes of the new variety is grown and the yields of the bushes recorded. The old variety has an average yeild of 5.2kg/bush. It is assummed that the yield from each bush is an independent observation from a normal distribution. Test at 5% level of significance, the breeder's claim.

I felt that
(null hypothesis) H0: mean=5.2
(alternative hypothesis) H1: mean<5.2

but my teacher said that it shoulde be:
(null hypothesis) H0: mean=5.2
(alternative hypothesis) H1: mean>5.2

Side question: How big is the range of the p-value(observed significance value)?
