Quick question for all you Kiwi's out there. My fiancee' and I are planning on moving out there in 4 years and something came to my attention. With all this talk on global warming, scientists have shown that if half of antartica and half of greenland melt, the sea level will rise 20ft. I'm curious to know what the sea level of new Zealand is and where I could find a map of it. I want to know how that will effect your beautiful country. Next question..
I'm from the U.S. and I'm well aware of Super Volcanoes. I passively watched a documentary on one such volcano in New Zealand a while back and was curious to know its validity as well. Which valcano is it? When is it due to erupt? Thank you.

I live in Denver which is at elevation 5280 ft.
Sea level barometer normal is 29.92 " Hg (14.7 psi).
Denver barometer normal is 24.76" Hg (12.16 psi).
Internal combustion engines operate at only 83% efficiency of an engine at sea level, and it takes several days for visitors to get acclimatized to the thinner air here if visiting from a lower elevation.
Several days ago I was filling my gas tank, and at the pump next to me was an RV. The RV owner said he was having trouble with the thinner air here, was short of breath, and wondered how long it took to get used to the altitude.
Out of curiosity, when I got home, I checked the barometric pressure via Weather Underground and it listed it at 30.11 " Hg (better than sea level normal), which we get quite often.
So my question is, why should the RV owner been short of breath?
With the higher barometric pressure shouldn't the oxygen quantity of the air been at least equal to, if not better than at sea level?

At my old apartment I used to see tiny gray bugs that mainly gravitated around the top rim of my bathtub. They were half the size of a flea, medium gray in color, and did not appear to be able to jump or fly. They could run pretty quick, but it was easy enough to squash them with just 1 finger. I live in the South Jersey area if it matters. I've always been curious as to what these things are. I think I saw one on top of the toilet tank in my store recently, too. Any ideas?
