If you had plastic covered braided steel cable and chromed chain of the same thickness, which would be harder to break?

I imagine it would be harder to cut or saw the solid chain.

I am asking this to figure out what is best to use to secure my motorcycle to some steel pipes.

Why is it, only under cold weather conditions to you have to rub a fluorescent bulb, perhaps with a moist cloth for it to become lit; whereas in warm conditions they light as soon as you turn on the switch? I think it has something to do with the flow of charges.

i don't know how to draw this and thats what i need help with. here is what the book asks:

ABCD is a parallelogram with angle BAD acute. E is on the ray (what is a ray?) CB such that triangle ABE is isosceles with AB=AE. F is on the ray CD such that triangle ADF is isosceles with AD = AF

and then it asks::

a. Prove that triangle ABE is similar to triangle ADF

b. Prove that DE = BF



ANOTHER QUESTION I HAVE TO DRAW AND SOLVE:

ABC is a triangle, M is a point in the line segment AB such that AB = 3AM and N is a point in the line segment AC such that AC = 3AN.

a. Prove that BC || MN

b. if BN and CM intersect at P, prove that BP = 3PN.

Here's how it goes: Solve the following trigonometric equations .Give all positive values of the angle between 0* and 360* that will satisfy each.Give any approximate value to the nearest minute only.

1.) 3 sin (theta) - 4 cos (theta) = 2
tan (x+15*) = 3 tan x

2.) tan (x+15*) = 3 tan x

circumstances: sub-tropics. 11 pm daylight time. 83 degrees. est. 76% humidity, pressure 30.11 and rising, dew point 74 degrees, light airs [maybe 3 knots] from SSE. visibility 10miles. [data from weather.com]

my altitude about 30 ft. sky clear within visible distance. 15miles + inland.

yet I see repeated lightning in the W and NW, but can not hear the thunder.

How far away is the lightning??

imm going to try and explain how this triangle looks like. firstly, there is a small triangle called OCD. O is the top, C is the left and D is the right. on top of the triangle is a larger triangle called ABO. O is the top of it, but the triangle is upside down, so these 2 triangles both have O. A is the left of the upside down triangle, and B is the right of the upside down triangle.
the length of AB is 7 cm
the length of BO is 6 cm
the length of CD is 3.5cm

the question is asking that :
is AB||CD and AB = 7 cm, BO = 6cm and CD = 3.5 cm, calculate CB.
PLEASE HELP. IM STUCK!!!! i also have many more questions that i need help with, and if you can help, is there a way to help me with all of them??
