I guess so if you're interested in populating it. The real reason to go there would be to find out if there is a livable climate.

Actually, science has proved that Generally, women work better in confined spaces, isolation with limited contact, and high stress areas, IE. submarines. So it would reason that they would preform better than men at long spaceflights as well. So fewer men could end up going at first. Would be nice to be one of the 1st men though :)
