fog x = f(x + 2)
= (x + 2)^2
= x^2 + 4 + 4x

f(g(x)) = f(x+2) since g(x)=x+2
if f(x)=(x)^2 then f(x+2)=(x+2)^2 or x^2 + 4x + 4

Remember when you find composition functions like this, you essentially take one equation and plug it in for the x in another equation. You kind of work it backwards....

You have f(g(x)), so you will take g(x) and plug it in for the x in f(x).
g(x)= x+2
f(x)= x^2,
so f(g(x))= (x+2)^2
