an electric fan use? I have an electric fan in my room for when the weather is hot or humid - I have got quite used to sleeping with the noise now so often leave it on all night.

Am I going to have a massive electricity bill because of it, or is it quite economic to run?

The hard facts about evolution:

1. The Earth is not billions of years old.(This cannot be proven by scientists in a million years). FACT!

2. No animals has ever been observed changing into any fundamentally different kind of animal). Two cats produce a cat, two dogs produce a dog, two whales produce a whale after their kind.

3. No one has ever observed life spontaneously arising from non-living matter.

4. Matter cannot make itself out of nothing. It's not happening on Mars, Venus or Jupiter and it has never happened on earth.

5. Micro-evolution is nothing more than a (natural God guided process) the Bible says in Genesis 1-The plants & animals would produce after their kind. Don't be deceived!

6. Evolution is nothing but a false religion based on faith just like any other religion.

7. Evolution is a deception cloaked in false scientific theories.

8. The entire universe was created by God.

Isaiah 45:18
Psalm 24:1-3
Colossians 1: 16

1. During respiration, o2 combines with co2 and also releases energy in the form of heat. Where does this heat come from? Does it leave co2 cold? But we breath out warm co2.

2.Why do gas molecules of the same element not become solid under a little pressure? Why do they get away from each other?

3. Why do the gases stay afloat? why don't they fall on ground? Why do light gases rise up despite the presence of gravity?

I was once digging in my compost heap and I saw a European Common Frog (Rana temporaria) that was bright pink. I also saw an albino pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) in the countryside (and i stress that it wasn't Lophura nycthemera!).

Green laser pointers.... on the net 240mw green lasers sell for around £300-400. on ebay £20 so i brought one.
they say it will burst ballons etc and i have seen videos,
so i thought i was getting a bargin.
when it arrived i tryed it out nice and bright but no heat.
the sticker says 240mw and the site does (surepromise) from ebay. a lot lower mw power will create a small amount of heat so what is wrong. the beam is bright and you can see it a bit in daylight at night it goes for miles. can anyone technical help.
can i overclock it some how, will a clean good lense do it.
also without sounding sill have i bean ripped off.
the ones one the net like wickid lasers, dragon lasers etc look simalar to what i have so i don't understand.
thank you

The potential energy is taken to be zero for an electron at an infinite distance 4rm d nucleus.
n=4 ---------------------------- -2eV
n=3 ---------------------------- -5eV

n=2 ----------------------------- -10eV

n=1 ------------------------------ -20eV

Part A -
How much energy (in eV) does it take to ionize an electron from the ground level?
Part B -
An 18.0 eV photon is absorbed by a searsium atom in its ground level. As the atom returns to its ground level, what possible energies can the emitted photons have? Assume that there can be transitions between all pairs of levels.
Part C -
What will happen if a photon with an energy of 8.00eV} strikes a searsium atom in its ground level? Why?
Part D -
Photons emitted in the searsium transitions n=3→n=2 and n=3→ n=1 will eject photoelectrons from an unknown metal, but the photon emitted from the transition {n=4 →n= 3} will not. What are d limits (max and min possible values) of d work function of d metal.
