Hungary! (Why do I know that?)

It's Hungary. I'm 100% sure.
First of all the Danube is the border for Bulgaria, and Romania, and their capitals are not next to the river. Also the Danube only goes through a very little part of Croatia, and Croatia's captal is located on the western side of the country, while the Danube cuts through the Eastern side.
Than if you look at a map of Hungary, the Danube is almost exaclty in the middle of the country, and the capital, Budapest is built on the river. (That's why it's such a beautiful city )
Also Lake Balaton is located in Hungary. (I went there a lot during summers when I lived in Hungary)

Hungary. The capital city Budapest was once two separate cities, Buda and Pest, on opposite sides of the Danube.
