Standard oral medication is unavailable for me because of potential interaction with diabetic medication, topical remedies have not worked, and yet severe nail fungus can cause a diabetic to lose fingers and toes.

If you could go shopping on the Moon to buy a pound of chocolate, you'd get a lot more chocolate than if you bought a pound on earth.

The giant squid (only found dead) is one of the great mysteries. They have vacuumed up a few just hatched babies, but the soon die.

I think that they die due to the huge pressure difference and that is probably why they are not seen except when dead.

What do you think?

As light can be bent by gravity and therefore must have mass, and objects travelling at the speed of light have infinite mass, why do we not get crushed to death by sunlight?

in the ocean, near greenland (or iceland) there are underwater gysers and the ocean water is around 600 degrees.

If I wanted to eat one of the strang creatures that live there, how in the heck could I cook it?

With my kitchen oven, I would have to give the poor thing a coat, because even on broil, the animal would still be freezing to death!

as with a sonic boom, I think that eclipsing the speed of light would cause a HUGE flash of light, as reflected light combines with the light that was already reflected.

would traveling at the speed of light make everything else seem to stop as no new imiges could catch you.
and traveling faster would have you catching 'old' light and so you would actually see everything in reverse (like rewinding a movie).
Does this sound about right to you?

I am asking for your opinion of naked eye observations, not equations, thank you.

If the sun will expand to engulf us, or if global warming is increasing, why don't we move the earth a bit away from the sun? What can we use to get the energy required to move this gargantuan body?

And the sun is expected to swallow us in 5billion years - we better start pushing the earth gradually away from the sun until we reach the neighbourhood of another star, which will carry on the function of our present star.

The site http://www.forbiddenarcheology.com suggests that there are counter-evolution archaeological discoveries being made, and also being covered up by the scientific community. I'm curious to hear what people think of this site, if it's legit or if the data presented here is flawed. Regardless of your view of evolution, it's interesting reading. For instance, according to the site:

"...in 1913 when Professor Hans Reck, of Berlin University, found a human skeleton in the upper part of Bed II at Olduvai Gorge, Tanzania. Modern dating methods give a late Early Pleistocene date of around 1.15 million years for this site. Reck said, "The bed in which the human remains were found....showed no sign of disturbance."

So what does that mean? How could human remains be found at a site dated over a million years old?
