in the ocean, near greenland (or iceland) there are underwater gysers and the ocean water is around 600 degrees.

If I wanted to eat one of the strang creatures that live there, how in the heck could I cook it?

With my kitchen oven, I would have to give the poor thing a coat, because even on broil, the animal would still be freezing to death!

Eating it would PROBABLY harm it, so that is of little concern to me!

Eating it would kill you.

Most deep see vent creatures have a different bio-chemistry then we do. They often develop sulfur based organisms, so unless you can drink sulfuric acid I wouldn't eat it.

As for the hidden question... Extremal-ophiles, life found in extreme environs, while able to live at extreme temperatures can only handle a small environmental change. So just moving it a few feet away from the vent, you risk harming it.

Maybe in the microwave with a little butter, some garlic, a splash of white wine, anything to cut the sulfur taste. Or just go sashimi style and eat it raw.

There are certain bacteria that can live in very high temperature vents in the sea floor. The creatures (tube worms) live on the bacteria a short distance away where it is much cooler. I believe that you could cook them like any other worms; but that does not mean they are edible.
