Some VRegs have the option to put a miriad of different negative voltages. Why would a circuit need this? Cant you just connect all negative and GND terminals (even thoughs that originated from a different +V source before its component(ie, LED) to a common GND ?

Can you see a Rainbow in the middle of the night when it is dark and the sky is lit by a full moon ?
I was driving north through the lake district just after midnight one day when I saw what appeared to be a rainbow but not as coloured as the ones you see during the day, this one was more shades of silvery grey light, in a huge arc across the sky.
This was the only time I have ever seen this phenomenon.

I need to step down +45v DC to +12v DC, with as little amps dissipated as possible. I was thinking about using a simple voltage divider circuit, but this dissipates too much heat (thus too much mA). I also looked into some VRegs from Linear and National, however the +12v does not need to be superbly regulated and using a VReg would waste power, and needs too many external parts.

Why, then, Yahoo! have so many propaganda of the superstition call ¨astrology¨, which is very different to the natural sciences call ASTRONOMY. How many ¨astrologers¨ works, for instance, in the NASA?- In reality you made a very bad contribution to the educational system.

we know mass and energy are interconvertable, but my question is that when there is energy and we calculate its mass equivelent, are we just finding the convertion rate between the two or does the actual energy have a gravitational pull?
