I notice in books & magazines that more and more scientists distrust Big-Bang Theory:

- what are the incoherences of this theory?
- what are the scientific observations that contradict Big-Bang Theory?

really, though the molecules in space are sparse the darkness in between can't be void of nothingness. But darkness is not energy yet it is infinity and scientific equipment goes off the chart when trying to measure the energy. Strange that no one has been able to harness this energy. Also, a lightbulb in threory forms a vacuum in which there is infinity energy that could, when extracted as dark energy could wipe out earth. I need some real help from anyone from a physics or Astronomy background,

If you fell through (an imaginary tunnel) from one pole to the other or from one side to the other,

how would your weight profile be as you fall from the surface towards the center of the earth?

The weight of an object increases or decreases from the center of gravity. The effect of gravity is inversely proportional to the distance from the centre. so if you were to fall to the center of the earth, how much would you weigh? the radius of the earth at the center is zero so the force on you is infinite??? will you be crushed by gravity?? any clarifications?

What is it in the human mind that makes the logical thought process possible ? How did logic evolve ? Why should we be logical?

2006-07-06 21:24:44 · 10 answers · asked by v.vasant 1 in Biology

By the very nature of evolution, are we not making a rod for our own backs? Should we not just live and let live? Surely we can still produce sufficient food from a less invasive approach to controlling pests. We might be giving them super powers by spraying with chemicals, The atmosphere around our plants changes, as does the plants respiratory system, by coating it with crap!

It at was fine until this strange looking desk was put in my room.
then i started to feel erie feelings like noises in my room when nothing was in there and a low groan. Then about a month later
i was awaken by something touching my foot but my door was closed and evrybody was asleep. then i scooted my leg around cause i thought it was a bug. Then i heard noises like there was a plane crash outside my window. and then there was a dark human
entity that i knew wasnt any family member because it was too short. then i went blind like something covered my eyes then my heart was loud enough that i could hear it beating very fast. then i tryed to scream for help nothing came out. i was supposed to go to school but i ended up staying up all night crying and me and my mom and my older sister talked about it. I thought it was stress. Can you guys tell me if i encountered a ghostly phenomenon?
Oh yea my house has been only owned by my family since it was built.
