Trying to Conceive - November 2007

How many people got this luck. I have heard that so many people get pregnant after they stop trying. I was just wondering how true this is. Any out there that this has happened to??

Is there anyone out there like this. I have tried, but it is not the foods that I want to eat even some bad foods I don't want. I am just craving gravy with rice all the time.

My husband and I haven't been able to get pregnant in 5 years. I have PCOS and I just had endometriosis surgery. I have been on Clomid and Metformin. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me.

this is not a question but just some info to encourage the ladies who are trying.

After 8 months of trying and on the month the I was to start infertility treatement I got my BFP last night.

I o'ed on 10/27 without ewcm. about 4 dpo my bb started hurting and have been worse everyday since then. My biggest clue was REFLUX i was getting the worse heartburn in the world with everything. my temps were high and I was haver watery clear cm which i still am but now i know why..

I hope all you ladie are covered in Baby Dust I still am in shock but Im ohh so happy!

Hey all.

I had a miscarriage in May, and had the Mirena IUD put in June. I had it take out on October 9th, because it was making me gain mad weight.
My doctor told me to use protection right when it was taken out because I could get pregnant. So, lol, I didn't use any protection, because we are TTC.

The beginning of my last period was on October 6th 2007. I was due November 6th 2007, and have not gotten my period yet.

I am now exactly one week late. And for the past 2 weeks, I have had bad night sickness, my nipples are HUGE, and I am leaking discharge so much it feels like I wet myself. Also I have really bad heartburn and headaches.

But I have bad cramps. It is known in my family for pregnancy tests to show up negative until the 3rd month. So all of my tests say negative!

What do you think?

Well i know there was a few of us testing today.......... soooo how did you all get on?? i got a big fat negative!!! but i did test early so will test again on saturday.

I had my rubella shot last month (october) and my doctor adviced me to stop trying for a baby for 1 month. I would really like to try for a baby ASAP (preferbably around this month) but some of my friends said that I had to wait for atleast 3months before trying to conceive. Please help, what should I do? Shall I wait for at least 3months before trying to conceive or listen to my doctor advice which is only 1 month?

exactly how long would it be for me to ovulate after i quit taking my birth control pills?

i just stopped on saturday. my period also stopped that day. i was completely through my second cycle.

I've found that since I've begun the TTC journey, I have absolutely zero patience for parents who have one or more beautiful children at home who complain to me (knowing about my infertility struggles!) about their inability to get pregnant with MORE. I'm starting to wonder if it's my whacked-out hormones, or if this journey has just turned me into a cynical bitter person... (some parent I'd make, huh? So much for compassion and empathy...)

Hi all.. so after spotting for 3 days, stupid AF came full force today =( I would really appreciate if you guys would help me find when are my exact ovulation days. My period is heavy, pretty regular, lasting 6 to days. So if the first day i started spotting was the 9th, does that then mean that i am ovulating on the 22nd??

It's too early to take a pregnancy test...at most I could only possibly be 4 days pregnant. I've been having headaches and am a little irritable like I would be if my period were coming soon, but it won't be here for about 2 weeks, so it's too early for PMS for me.

Today was my due date for my twins before I miscarried last april. Before I was pregnant, I prayed and prayed that I would get pregnant with twins. I was devistated when I miscarried my twins. I've been praying since then that I would become pregnant again. I told myself that I would be pregnant again by the due date of my twins that I miscarried (that's today!) So I took two pregnancy tests today. I was unsure of the results of the first one because only half of the "positive" line showed up clear enough to see, and the other half of the line was very very light. So I tested again a few hours later (after drinking lots of water) and that test came out negative. I'm going to test again in the morning, but I'm soo nervous and excited that I cant stop wondering! oh yeah, my period is 4 days late, and my breasts hurt! what do you guys think? thanks in advance to everyone!

i am about 5'9 and slightly overwieght for my age/hieght could this have an affect on me getting pregnant?

but i am jogging( well fast walking) 6 miles around the track every second day and cutting out the sodas and drimking more water.......if i got pregnant soon could i still do this??

also i was wondering.....when i do get pregnant i already have a sense of the foods i need to eat and stay away from and have small exercises picked out...but in doing this seems as though i would lose weight ....is it possible and or SAFE to lose weight during a pregnancy?

On 11/6 my hcg was 277 on 11/8 it was 744 today I had some bright red bleeding and my hcg level was 400. The dr. thinks it is a) early pregnancy b) possible ectopic or c) miscarriage. BUT is waiting until Friday to do another test. She claims that it may be late implantation and I shouldn't worry just yet. Has anyone ever had this happen?

Im officially a week late...the last time i tested it was negative, but that was the day I was supposed to start. I've been having headaches, but thats about the only symptom so far. Random bouts of neausea and cramping, but nothing to really whine about :) So, wish me luck and I'll keep you posted :)

Then I went to the Doctors that same nght and took a urine sample and it was negative. Then two days later I took another test that said positive, went to the doctors today for a confirmation. The blood test said I was pregnant. This would be my fourth child, What the hell happend here? Any one else experience this before? My fiancee is very excited even though he was a little doubtful because of that one negative test. And I'm two weeks if you were wondering.

AF came on Sat 2 days late. My periods usually only last 3 days but those 3 days are light to medium continuous flow and a little spotting on day 3 towards the end. This time my first day was light continuous flow and yesterday it started to slow down around midday and by 5pm it was gone and I spotted a little last night. This morning I spotted light pink once and nothing since. Could I still have a slight chance at being preggo or is a case of the "weird period" and wishful thinking? Has anyone had this happen and been pregnant?

My partner says he wants to wait 5 years before we start trying for a baby. He is 30, and im 20.

I dont think i can wait that long, but have been told i might not ever concieve.

We dont use contraception, apart from withdrawal method.
He has also said if it happens then it happens.

Do you think he is wanting a family now, but its too scared to say because of my gynae problems?

Has anyone heard that taking Robitussin while ttc can cause spinal bifida? I have another question posted about TTC and Robitussin on if it is helpful in thinning cervical mucus. I have read and been told it does help. But someone posted that it can cause Spinal Bifida and nervous disorders. I would have thought the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" which recommends taking Robitussin would mention this risk and I also have another book that states nothing of this risk. My doctor told me to buy the "TCOYF" book and follow its advice. Please help me find out if this is true or not. Thanks
