Trying to Conceive - November 2007

I've been trying to get pregnant for the last 2 years. It's more important now since my grandpa found out he has leukemia and he's 79. My grandma is also having medical problems and she's 87. They both have always wanted a great grandchild.

I got HPV when I lost my virginity to a rape 4 years ago. The doctor says I should be ok to get pregnant since my paps etc have come back ok. He also did some bloodwork and found out that I was ovulating and everything was functioning normally. So why can't I seem to get pregnant? Seems like some people just snap their fingers and they're pregnant. Is there something that I should be eating or doing that helped you become pregnant?

This is the list of my past periods. If you can help me please do! Am I regular?..Which days should I try to conceive on? I'm going by the site mymonthlycycles.com but it hasn't helped yet.

July 30th-August 4th
August 29th-September 3rd
October 2nd-October 7th
November 1st-November 5th

my period was due on Monday the 12th and it's Saturday the 17th and I still have no period...my husband and I are hoping i'm preg...but I took a test this morning and it came out negative...and then I was reading alot online about false negatives and the information said that false negatives are very rare...and it might mean you had a misscarge...so I'm scared I had a misscarage...but I have no bleeding at all still...so I'm confused to why my periods late...I had sex on all my fertile days and then some...idk i'm just confused...I really hope I'm pregnant. any help??

i want to try for a baby next year and i want to make sure i do things right what can i do to make sure i am doing this correctly and healthy before trying to concieve i do smoke but i no i will find it hard to quit any tips on this too!!

Just few weeks ago i shared a great news in ths forum..and i was so excited and Happy that after trying so hard i got pregnant.and everybody here wished me good luck and happiness but that happiness didnt last long and just on friday ie.yesterday i came to know about ths bad news that my baby is no more alive..Actually it was just a follow up ultrasound in which we came to know that my baby;s heartbeat stopped...and it was so shocking becoz just last week we heard the heartbeat and ths week it stopped...doc.said it is due to some chromosomes abnormality,but i dont understand why ths happend to me...we were tryng for so long,it was heartbreaking for me and my husband and for all our family members as ths was our first child..its like everythg has just stopped and still i m unable to realise that it happened..did any1 has ths situatio,that.due to chromosomes his baby didnt survive???i wish no one has to go through ths.

I had posted a few days ago stating i was having light aches on my lower left abdomen, i got my answers, well im due for my period on the 21st of this month, i ovulated 8 days ago, i had sex the 2 days before and day of ovulation and also next day, me and mikal went to get tests, and i figured heck lets just see, i used first response and there is a faint pink line, it is light but DEFINATLEY noticable, i read within the 3 minute time alloted, this was o ur first month ttc, is it really possible for me to be pregnant, tommorow will be 4 days before my period...i dont feel right, ive been really tired, the side aches have slowly gone away...

My girlfriend and I are in a very stable relationship and we are looking for a man (24-30 in age) to get to know and give sperm for a child. We would like him to be known as the childs sperm donor, but not parent. Or the option to not have anything to do with the child either way is acceptable.

I have done so much research on the internet aswell as speaking to my Dr. and it seems everyone has totally conflicting ideas. I obviously know it is wise to BD every second day (if male fertility problems) and everyday otherwise during your fertile period. But for those of you that only did it once or know the exact day you conceived which day worked best? Day before O, day of the big O, or day after? Would love to hear from personal experience rather than from websites. Thanks

ok so september 19th i started my period, i had my period on oct. 16th too...and now i am four days LATE! i have gotten myself excited before and been dissappointed so i dont want to test just yet, i just want reasurrance lol.

i have been urinating alot recently...i actually woke up 4 times in the middle of the night to go!
bbs are a little achy...but not too bad...
i have had a pinching feeling on my left side which is weird because i usually get pains only on my right side b/c i have cysts on my right ovary...

Does it ever make you mad when you read someone's "heartbreaking" story of how they're having soooo much trouble conceiving #2, or #3, when here I am, with no kids, not knowing if I'll ever have any? It makes me mad! At least they have one, which not only do they have the joy of that one, but also the reassurance that they are (or at least were) physically capable of having one. I know that makes me a b#@ch, but I can't help it. I think it's entirely a different (and lesser) kind of pain.
