I'm 40 year's old, 5 mos pregnant with a daughter, and my doctor said I'm having a pregnancy of a 20 year old. I think 31 or 32 is PERFECT to have your first child. You will be fine :).
Congrats on your engagement and best wishes on starting a family.
PS - what changes after age 35 is that you go through more testing than you would at an earlier age for things like Downs, Spina Bifida. Actually, the percentage of women having children in years 35 to 40 have increased so much (according to my doctor) that it is becoming the norm.

I'm 29 and pregnant with #2, I will be 30 when the baby is born. I'm having no problems at all. I might consider have a third child when I'm 34 or 35. It's usually after the age of 35 where women start having problems.

Nope we were married 9 years(19), then had our baby at 29. I was on bc for a long time, and it took 4 months, but I wasnt even trying, so I am sure you will be fine. If you were over 37, then maybe you might have fertility issues.

You can have a perfectly healthy pregnancy at that age. One you hit 35 you ca still have a healthy baby but there are more risks and testing to go through. I think it's an ideal age because you will be ready to calm down and settle into motherhood.

Absolutely not, with modern medicine there is no reason a woman should not be able to have health children in her early thirty's. My parents were both 32 when I was born (I am now in my mid twenties) I was there first child, and their decision to wait till they were older to have children ensured that they were emotionally and finacialy ready for it. Good luck!!

They say that at 30 it makes it harder. But everyone is different so it might not be for you. I don't think there is ever a bad time. Children are a blessing no matter what the age!!
