but my husband was joking around with me and stuff and we were talking about how women always say "its MY baby" but then he said its more of THE MANS baby it comes from him first....do some men really think that and have any of ur husbands said this to you and been serious

My husband says its EQUAL!
He says you cant have a baby without the other person so that makes it BOTH of yours!
*hes not joking... hes probably making sure he doesnt have to take them IF he ever leaves! HAHA! jk
He repeated they are OURS babe!
But I have heard women say MINE and I've also heard men say YOUR baby is crying!

Neither sex can reproduce without the other, just because the man contributes the sperm he still needs a viable egg to conceive. Plus, it's the woman who does all the work by changing her eating habits, lifestyle (smoking/drinking), body change and overall care giver!
My husband joked about that once...but after I scheduled him for a vasectomy he takes things a lot more seriously!

Actually, it's the women's baby. All the sperm does is fertilize the egg, adding his genes. The cell that divides and turns into the baby is still the mothers.

If they what to make a kid they need us!
we have the oven to bake it up!
All they do is make a deposit!
we have the baby......suck feed cry...scream....tantrum...ect..
so if they what it to be " The Mans baby"
get to it! they might be a little nicer to us....
Mothers.....Full time workers....Stay at home ......Clean and cook the place!!!
that Is funny I would like to see them try to do what we do!
Hay Lady's lets go on a Holiday for a month..go sit in the sun had have fun!
I was having a little fun..I love my kid....But I don't love my full time job..so much!

Surely you each realize that without the combination of both the male and female elements there wouldn't be a baby at all? So its NOT his baby, its NOT your baby, it is the Both of your baby, so more proper to say "Its OUR baby".

i think in a way your husbands right but the fact that we have to carry for 10mths and we bond differently i think gives us equally as much right to claim lol but either way its both of your baby it wouldnt be here without both of you.

i had a c-section and my hubby jokes that all i did was bake the cake he had to mix the batter and i didn't even know when to take it out the Dr had to do it for me lol.

He only made half of it. You should offer to half it with him - he can look after the bottom half, and you'll look after the top half. No changing nappies/diapers for you!

my husband teases me about that, when i say i carried him in me for 9 months..., he says well i carried him in me too:) its funny, noone ever thinks of it like that.
