I just ended my AF and I usually use one just to feel clean afterwards. I won't be ovulating for another week so is it harmful to use one now? How about when you are pregnant, is it harmful then?

the vagina is self cleaning. Unless you have a medical condition that requires douching (and if you do - your doctor will have “prescribed” a douche for you) then you really don’t need to douche - even after “that” time of the month. In fact - simple daily bathing with soap and water is sufficient.

Douching can hurt your chances of conception by washing away all the good fertile quality cervical fluid and can dry out the vagina - making penetration much more difficult. Especially if you have a problem with not producing enough fertile quality cervical fluid. And if you like to douche after intercourse - you are washing away the sperm and that totally counteracts the act of conception

Your vagina is self cleaning...douches are disgusting things...manufacturers play on womens insecurity over their vagina's to sell this crap...dont use those, especially when trying to concieve....your vagina is a carefully self regulating piece of brilliance which needs no "special washes" top keep it healthy. Also I would NEVER flush out my vagina whilst pregnant...chemicals up there that do not belong, or occurr naturally could do harm.

It;s not harmful to use on the last day of AF, but I do believe it's not recommended.

As for your fertile days....absolutely not & not while you are pregnant either.

It's okay to use one before ovulation, but you shouldn't do it while pregnant. It says so on the box and instructions. So I don't use them after ovulation. Good luck!

My doctor told me to never use a douche, whether I was pregnant or not.
