I have done so much research on the internet aswell as speaking to my Dr. and it seems everyone has totally conflicting ideas. I obviously know it is wise to BD every second day (if male fertility problems) and everyday otherwise during your fertile period. But for those of you that only did it once or know the exact day you conceived which day worked best? Day before O, day of the big O, or day after? Would love to hear from personal experience rather than from websites. Thanks

Even without male fertility issues, you still should limit to no more frequent than every other day.
But from the research I did when we were TTC, the best approach is to BD the day of O, two days before O, and abstain for 3 to 5 days before that.
In otherwords, if Day 14 is O date, then abstain starting between Day 7 to Day 9, then BD on Day 12 and Day 14.

I had intercourse the day I ovulated.
Since the egg only lives 12-36 hours, it's best to try the day before or the day of. the day after may be too late.

when i fell pregnant with my son,
hubby a i had sex every day the week i was due to ovulate,
and we got lucky..
we'd been ttc for 7 months and done it every 2nd day and used opk and all that stuff..
But the month we got pregnant we had sex every day and because we wanted too not just to get pregnant..

i have had no problem getting pregnant and I figure it's because my body wanted sex when it was time during ovulation. So trust your hornyness lol.
