i know that your period is nothing more then your body getting rid of the unfertilized egg, but what are the chances that i could be inpregnated the week after my period???

I dont understand - I have been BTT charting for 2 months now (as well as using Lh strips), and have always made sure I had intercourse the day before and exactly on the day of ovulation, neither month have I ended up pregnant.

How is this possible? Isn't conception a given thing, if you have intercourse on the day of your ovulation?

Ok, lets say that i start taking birth control pills november 1st and i keep taking them but i might take one, one day and then miss one the next day and i start taking them at diffient times cause i was taking them at 10:30 but i start taking them at 9:45 and then sometimes 9:30 but i didnt take on today and im gonna keep taking them but when friday gets here the 16th and i go sleep with someone what are the chances that i will get or become pregnant. i dont plan on taking them the 17th either. will taking my pills at diffifent times and skipin a pill each day will that make me fertile! aint that what they do is make you fertile?

Hello all,
I was recently diagnosed with PCOS, and am looking for a support group. The one thing that I ask about the support group is: Do you know of one that has products, where the proceeds go to research of PCOS?? Thanks for all your help ladies... Even if you know of a site without products that is good for support that would be great too. I just ask that if it does have products and doesn't go for research please don't tell me about it... My husband and I are going to have our fourth child in a few months and dont know wether to do a home birth or in a hospital. Our previous children who are now 5,5 and 10 were all born in a hospital.

i was supposed to get my period on nov. 6 for a 28 day cycle...so i always count 2 days later so it would be a 30 day cycle because my cycles range from 28-30 or 31 days....so that would be nov. 8....i have never been later then a 32 day cycle....now today on cycle is nov. 11 cycle day 34....i have some symptoms of pregnancy...but i took a test today (first response) and it was negative...im so confused...whats going on and when sould i test again...

how long did you get a negative until a positive?

Me and my Husband have been TTC for about a year now with no success and I had gone to 2 different OB/GYNs and they both told me I am a good candidate for PCOS, one did the testing and said not all my results came back positive for PCOS and so technically I dont have it, but I havent had a period since June 07, and I went to my family dr, in November and she said she wanted to check my insulin level and see about putting me on Glucophage/Metformin to see if that would help get my periods to normal and getting me pregnant, and I want to know if just that will help or if I need to do Clomid with it, I am trying for my first and I just want some advise on Metformin and see if there are any positive results or if I am just getting my hopes up! Can some one out there help me?

I'm hoping to become a mom before I get too old, and so I put out an ad for a know sperm donor. You see I want my future child to know who their father is at one point in their lives. Anyway, I recieved many responses to my ad and narrowed it down to one. He seems to be disease free and actually wants to know his offspring. I thought that he was a good choice. Sounds good huh? Well, here is the catch.. I was hoping that he wanted to ship the sperm for me to inseminate at home or in a Dr's office, but he wants to have make the baby the old fashioned way:O because he says that it will get me pregnant faster and frozen sperm will take too long to impregnate me. I don't know. I don't like having sex with men I hardly know, but since I haven't found Mr Right yet, have decided to have a kid on my own. I don't want sex with him, but he is adamant about it. And he wants to fly out to my home for it.I could look for another donor, but he seems to be great in every other way. Should I do this?

Well, I was supposed to get my period the 9th and it never showed and here it is now the 11th and theres not sign of my period. I have been expeirencing lower back pain, pain with my siatic nerve, crying when I see something on tv, testie emotions. Hungry alot more than usual... don't know I had two periods in october one was for 5 days the other was for two. What could be going on?? Is there a chance I could be indeed pregnant? I went to the OBGYN last week and he did an internal and gave me bc if I was pregnant wouldn't he be able to tell for just an exam/pap?

For more then one year (since I stopped taking the pill), I have had 67 days cycles with (probably) no ovulation. I do have an apointment at a fertility clinic in january. I know because it has been tested that my ovaries and my blood test were fine.
I have tried in october to take chaste berry drops.
Last month, I was a little unmotivated with this process so I didn't take my basal temperature. I know, I should have...! Now I was expecting my period on November the 7th. I have had cramps on the past few days, but yesterday they seamt to have disappeared. Of course, I wish I was preggers and this unexplained problem might just go away by itself but... I still don't want to get my hopes up in vain. If my period doesn't come, when should I purchase a pregnancy test? Thanx for the help. Xx Baby dust to all TTC :)

Hi...I have been checking my cervix all this month and the end of last month..My cervix has been high up and soft all this month and i just got my period today (right on schedule) and it is still high up and soft..I thought it was supposed to be low and hard during your menstruation??

my finace and I are trying to conceive now.

Tonight him and I are going to be drinking a little bit. We both never ever drink. Sometimes it relaxes us.

Would it lower his sperm count tonight or effect our chances of conceiving if he consumes a little bit of alcohol? Or should we hold off on the alcohol until after?

I heard that when A man drinks before sex, hes even more "horny" and lets out more sperm. IS that true as well?
