my finace and I are trying to conceive now.
Tonight him and I are going to be drinking a little bit. We both never ever drink. Sometimes it relaxes us.
Would it lower his sperm count tonight or effect our chances of conceiving if he consumes a little bit of alcohol? Or should we hold off on the alcohol until after?
I heard that when A man drinks before sex, hes even more "horny" and lets out more sperm. IS that true as well?

If you don't normally drink, and this is like a special occasion, then I'm sure it's not gonna hurt anything. You really can't make ttc your whole life...this causes stress, and stress impedes conception. I'm sure that it would actually do you guys good to have some drinks and relax. Good Luck!

If your husband has no sperm count problems, and drinking isn't a normal habit for the two of you, then it should be fine. I don't see any reason why you can't have a couple drinks.

from what I have heard it takes away some of his desires to get frisky that night but I am not sure if it will lower your chances of conceiving! Maybe you can make a quick phone call to your Ob/Gyn.

If your trying to conveive you should be taking prenatal vitamins, not drinking alchohol....And you wonder why your not PG yet...
