i know that your period is nothing more then your body getting rid of the unfertilized egg, but what are the chances that i could be inpregnated the week after my period???

Not likely. Most woman ovulate about he week after there period or a bit later, and even after you have ovulated it takes about 7 days for the egg to even implant. So you aren't even considered pregnant till about 3 weeks after your period or a week after ovulation and then you still wouldn't get symptoms for another few days after implantation.

If you have a normal cycle you would ovulate around the 14th day, that is 14 days after the first day of your period. Depending on your cycle it could happen.

That's a highly fertile time. Conceived both kids on the 9th day of my cycle. Sperm live in you for several days. Don't take chances.
