Trying to Conceive - November 2007

for the past 3 and 1/2 months, me and my fiance have been trying to conceive and we're having no luck.
we do it multiple times a day, and he always "finishes" inside of me.
how long does it take the average couple to conceive a baby?
we're both young and healthy and really want a baby.

yup this would be my 9th month TTC i have given up... i don't know why... but i am guessing because after this long TTC and haven't conceived then i am not suppose to have a baby...
so i want to say thanks to all you girls who have helped me and given me all the baby dust i could have needed (too bad it actually didn't work lol)

i have been ttc for years and i suspected pcos since i had a lot of the symptoms. i did the blood tests and everything was normal so my doc sent me to get a vaginal ulrasound. i just got a call back from her office and they want to see me asap.. im so nervous .. what could it be? Im so afraid that she's gonna tell me i cant have children which would devistate me...

have any of you ladys been through this?What was the outcome?

Am i worring too much? im a nervous reck ..!!!!

My mom said she had it and went on the pill for a year and then went off the pill and she was able to get pregnant because the pill helped her. Now I have it. What are my chances and does the pill really help?

To every female or male on here looking for answers to live out there dream. The time will come. It's a very depressing thing when everyone around you has what you want and been trying for so long. I want to say to everyone to PLEASE keep your head up and your heart open, because the time will come. I know it's the hardest thing to wait for when it seems like it should be the easiest thing to do, at least for other people (it seems easy). Just do everything you supposed to and prepare yourself to bring your baby in the world. Because ladies and gentlemen. THIS IS OUR YEAR!!!

so i am not due to get AF until Tuesday. Its coming up... ;) and I am hoping she doesnt arrive! I want this baby more than anything. My poor DH keeps asking me every morning if I am preggers! lol he wants a little bundle of joy just as much as I do.. and as much as it disapoints me every month it kills my DH as well. And I am getting so impatient now.. lol what is it that all you ttc do in your ttw or month to month waiting periods?? Cuz I know its easier said than done to just relax but HELLO were human! I have bought an opk and have tested everyday since the last day of my period which was back on the 4th ok I'll be honest twice somedays.My question is my husband works 24 hour shifts so if I do get a darker line when he is not here and can't do the act right than how much time do I have.I wish there was abuzzer or something that told you the exact time the egg was released lol

I am 5'2'' and fluctuate between 95 to 98 pounds. My BMI is less than 18 and I am considered underweight. I don't have an eating disorder and am pretty healthy. I don't look sickly, I just have a small frame. I am worried that this may be affecting my fertility. I read that being underweight may cause low estrogen levels. I have noticed that I have scant cervical mucus which could be from low estrogen. Do you think this is connected? Anyone have this problem? Anything I can do? I have been ttc for about 4 mos. after a miscarriage in July. HELP!

Has anyone heard of using a vinegar douche before sex to increase the chances of conceiving a girl? I've read that it immobalizes the male sperm making it much more favorable for the female sperm to reach the egg, especially if you do it 2-4 days before ovulation. I've also read though that it can be dangerous to make one and use it because it can cause infection. I saw someone post that you can buy premade vinegar and water douches from Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy or any other drug store and the follow FDA guide lines so they are very safe to use. Does anyone know if this actually works or has anyone tried it themselves?

Not a question just need some baby dust!...I am 13DPO now..I took my OPK results out of FF and it moved my O date to CD18 instead of CD16. So according to that AF is due today instead of Nov 6 and so far nothing. Not even spotting which I usually get the day before. My temps are still up and Im still having the clear lotiony CM. I tested early several days last week hoping I could be one of those women who get an early BFP but got a bunch of negatives..Now Im scared to test! I think I going to wait till Sat morning Ill give AF another day to make a late entrance..I will be 15DPO then...If I am preggo I should definitely get a positive then shouldnt I? I am trying to keep my mind off if it and until now was doing a good job! : ) Sorry so long! Here is my chart

I am now 13DPO and AF is due today. So far nothing. I jumped the gun and tested early several days back for a few days in a row and got a bunch of negatives so Ive scared myself into not testing anymore...If AF dosent show today or tomorrow I was think of testing Sat morning..but Im afraid as soon as I do that AF will show up! I will be 15DPO on Sat and my luteal phase is 12 days...I know it can change but its been the same for as long as I can remember. My temps are still high...usually they drop at 10-11DPO. What is the average DPO for a + test?

Me- this is my second marriage and I still have not conceived. We've only been trying two months, but I've never been preggers before. I'm 29 years old.I have wanted a child for so long. I've been taking EPO and Geritol Tonic. My cousin told me that geritol is good. And I also have been taking folic acid. I hope all goes well this month. My cycle is due the 18th of Nov.

We had been trying for baby before my husband went off to fight the war in July. I am 27 and in good health and we have been trying for a baby for about 4 months, but without luck.
The last time we had sex was July the 15th, but had been sexually active every second day beforehand.
I was due for my period on the 29th of July. It didn’t come until the 16th of August. Then it was really heavy and I was really campy for 7 days. Not sure what went on there. Then I never had a period September or October. I thought I was pregnant, and took about 20 tests and all were negative.
Do you think it would be possible to be pregnant even if I had a period? Or am I just screwed up???

I am not stressed so that isn’t really a factor.

Ok we had sex when i thought i was ovualting (14 days before my next period) I thought i had been having pregnancy symptoms so took a test and it was neg )i took it a week before my period was due tho so i probably tested to early. Anyway, i am due on in 6 days but last night used an ovualtion kit which was positive and that I was ovualting! Can this be possible 5 - 6 days before my next period or do you think I good be preggers and the htp didn't pick it up but the ovulation kit did?

Please help v.confused!!!

How soon can you find out that your pregnant? My husband and I had sex during time of ovulation which was Oct 28th through Nov 1st. We've had sex before ovualtion but mainly did the right things during because we are trying to conceive a baby. Is it too early to have signs of pregnancy? Reason why I ask is because my boob's have been VERY sore the past couple of day's, my nipples hurt really bad when they are touched or even having a bra on. My veins in my boob's are showing more then what they usually show, and I've been having bad headaches, I also get VERY tired. I don't know why I get tired through out the day, I get enough sleep during the night. Do you think I could be pregnant, or is it still too early to tell? Thanks bunchs xo!

I've been pregnant before, and I got very sore breasts almost immediately during that time. My period is now due in a couple of days and I have moderately sensitive nipples at the moment, but they are not sore. The spotting I experienced this month was very light and brown, and lasted for about the same amount of time a period would. Has anyone has similar symptoms to these?

Ok i got spotting this morning but know for sure that I will have a full period show this afternoon or tonight. Would I count today as day one or wait untill tomorrow morning to count it.?
