Ok i got spotting this morning but know for sure that I will have a full period show this afternoon or tonight. Would I count today as day one or wait untill tomorrow morning to count it.?

Spotting does not count! The first day of actual flow is considered Day 1..now that first day could be light, medium, or heavy....but spotting does not count.

I've read that the first day of actual flow is DAY 1. Spotting is not considered day one on most websites.

i had this same confusion but luckily my aunt is an OB/GYN nurse. she says 1st day of real red period blood (sorry to be graphic) is the 1st day of your period. don't count spotting. good luck!

If u period have 3,4,5, 6, or 7 days once it end on the day it suppose end and d spotted day is included u add it as day 1.

The day you started seeing blood is day one. Today.
