Trying to Conceive - October 2007

Hey, most of you may no me, I have pcos and I try giving others hope but its me who really needs it, it feels as if I would never get a (+), I can't get one with the OPK's,nor with the EPT's. Everyone around me is pregnant from my lil cousins (16,17) to aunts (36), and 3 of my friends, and I would even mention the ones who done conceive, I am engage but as of last night I told my fiance it wouldn't work, I can't give him what we really want, I did clomid and now on metformin, I would just wait and let nature takes it course even though my pcos is making me not ovulate, to all the ladies out there with pcos I would always come back to yahoo answer and give you some up dates, until then I'll be relaxing

I was up for most of the night from 330am to about 6. Before I went to bed I drunk a cup of water and when I woke up 930 I took the test. It looked like a line meaning positive but I don't know was it really there or was I seeing things.

So my question is: is it possible that the line wasn't really there but because I looked at the test so hard I saw one?

I'm 7days late and if the line is really there its barely visible

my finance will be in iraq until june 2009. which means IF we got pregnant as soon as he got home i would 29 when i gave birth. does age make it harder to get pregnant with PCOS? will it be harder to concieve when im 29 then when im 26?
Im not sure how bad i have it...i dont have the physically signs of PCOS. im not over weight and i dont have facial hair, but i do not ovualte on my own. my doctor said my male hormone level is at 73. i understand i will have to use clomid but what are my chances of getting pregnant period?

We've been TTC on our own now for 13 months with no luck.

So, I've been on clomid and went on ultrasound and had a 8mm and 14mm follicles on Friday (Day10). Since Sunday I've been doing the OPK's and it was always nothing. Just yesterday I noticed egg white discharge and some little cramping. Now, I took a test yesterday and today and this is what it showed. Opinions? Please help! BTW, I have pcos.

Okay so I am 7 months postpartum after a 40 week stillbirth. We are TTC, but my cycle has been really crazy since the delivery, I can't predict when or if I am ovulating. Last month I had to take Provera to bring on a period. I did BBT this month as well as ovulation strips, both were inconclusive as to ovulation. My GYN is set to put me on Clomid November 30. I am on cycle day 38 now (about 5 days later than what my "regular cycle" before pregnancy.

I thought that I didn't ovulate again this month, however just for the heck of it I just did a First Response test with 2nd morning urine. Before the 10 min mark, I have a very very very faint pink mark on the test line. It's about 1/3 of the actual test line, but very faint. I am trying not to get too excited........also trying not to waste more money peeing on things, because it's an expensive habit!!!!

Please give me some advice on personal experience, what does this mean and what should I do????

i want to get preg. it has brrn very hard for me i have had 1 mc and since then have not conceived i have pcos take metformin+ provera every day i am ttc for 4 yrs. 3 yrs since miscarriage. I have had 2 failed iui's and no money for ivf i want to know if i should have surgery to remove cysts, what should i do, besides giving up, i noticed that i ovulate while taking fertilaid off of internet

I am TTC#3 and if everything works out this month will be getting a postive preg test around nov 8th or so. Last period started Oct. 7th, Just wondering if anyone is in the same boat! We can all cross our fingers together!!

I have very unpredictable periods since I stopped my pills back in May. In June it was 30 days, July/August 60 days, September and so far this month I'm on day 44. Yesterday, I had a little bleeding (very little, not even enough for a pad or tampon, just there when I wiped) and I saw a clot in the stool which looked like a piece of flesh, about the size of a dime. What do you think this was? Implantation bleeding (I didn't have that with my first), a miscarriage, or something else?? I've been trying to track my cycles, but they have been so sporadic, it's hard.

Hi, I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago... i have always been regular on my period, but was diagnosed during a routine scan.
Me and my boyfriend only decided to start trying the other day. I havent come on my period this month and 10 days late.
I have never been on the pill cos im always regular and usually use condoms, but they have split a few times.

Im just wondering, if i get a regular period (apart from this month) will i still ovulate normally?

What are the chances of me getting pregnant on my own.

P.S I have done two preg tests and both neg.

We ttc for almost a year and always tried to have intercourse between the 13th and 16th day of my cycle, which is 28-29 long. But this month while I was on the 20th day of my cycle I felt a pain in my lower abdomen(like ovulating). When I took an ovulation test around 3PM was positive. We've been trying with a week before even I did not get a positive ovulation test and now we tried again. It is possible to ovulate that late in your cycle (20th day)? I'm actually almost a week from my period to come.
I'm confused...not sure when to start testing from now my ovulation. This was the only way, since cannot understand the cm thing.

Its been 2 years since ttc, same disappointing story every month, am beginning to think its just not worth so much of pain, maybe I shud just give up...

On top of all this there are people who taunt and ask stupid question as to why I cant have a baby...I mean I know they shud just go to hell, but it hurts at times.

I did my 1st Round of Clomid 50mg CD 5-9 last cycle. I took it Aug 29 - Sept 2nd. I waited and waited and no sign of AF and got like 6 BFN. I finally called my Dr and he told me to take Provera. Took it CD 40-44 and my cycle lasted 46 days.

So my question is.. since my AF didnt come on its own does that mean I didnt Ovulate? I asked my Dr if I should by OPK's and he said to wait till I get AF on my own or it would be wasting my money. I didn't ask him what he meant by that, but Im assuming he meant I haven't ovulated, is that correct?

I am not trying to conceive at this time but that may be changing within the next year or two and I have a question...

If you're a female with a relatively short cycle (say 23 or 24 days instead of 28), does this mean you are more fertile than a woman with a longer cycle (more likely to get pregnant) or less fertile or is there even a difference? If your cycle is shorter, does that generally mean you have fewer fertile days to work with in a given cycle?

I was just wondering. Usually my cycle is between 26 and 28 days but sometimes it is only 23 or 24 days. I don't remember it being this way when I was younger but it's been this way the last few years, off and on (I'm 31 now).

Just wondering if the shorter cycles means I'm more fertile now than I used to be or less.

when keeping track of my temp. can I just use a $4.99 thermometer from target? because I have been reading about it and it said to use a basal body thermometer. Does it really matter which one I use? Can I start taking my temp tomorrow morning because My last period was this month on the 17th- 26th. ? Or should I wait?
